2009 Europeans - Day 3 - Ireland v Finland

Ireland show their potential in a tough game against Finland. Having started the game as the underdogs Ireland managed to go goal for goal with the Finnish for a large part of the game. The starting line up of Stephen Aylmer, Garrett Culliton, Alan Lynch and Ronan O'Keeffe had a great start to the game and show some real potential for our key games against the Netherlands and Austria. All the line ups had a run but the final score of 55 - 39 did not do justice to the overall team performance. The teamĀ  have taken some strong positives from the game and are on a real high, looking forward to ther next game tomorrow. Having played Sweden already this year they are quietly confident of putting in another good performance.
